Get To Know More About Me ...

It seems important that you know some things about On Your Way To Shine and the person behind it, which is me, Deborah. I was born in Paris to a French mother and a Vietnamese/Indian father. From a young age I have always been passionate about travels and new cultures. I lived in Italy, hitchhiked in Europe, backpacked alone in Southeast Asia, climbed several peaks with a physical condition close to 0. One of my most recent and greatest adventures was to arrive in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa in 2019. And here I am... ! The trips, as well as the encounters that ensued, opened not only my mind but also my heart. My heart is filled with unconditional love for the life I lead, the exploits I do, the landscapes I admire, the people I meet and above all,  my heart is filled with love and tolerance for myself. Life is a great school that gives us all the tools to shine from within. But you have to understand them to know how to use them. Once acquired, it is difficult to get rid of it and that is when you will be on your way to shine.

I was doing a retreat in Bali when my life mission (Dharma) appeared. We often find our life mission by serving our own needs and then finding that others need the exact same thing. It was quite clear that I had to show the way to inner well-being to those who could not interpret tools and messages of life. And it is through massage (the touch) that I decided to honor this call.

Later on, I followed a professional Balinese massage training in Canggu,  thanks to which I can exercise my profession as a masseuse today. But it is not enough to have done studies and certifications to be a good therapist. The attention must be pure and honest. From the moment the heart is there, most of the job is done.

I created On Your Way To Shine so that each individual feels eligible for mental and physical happiness through a wellness massage. It would be a lie to say that I exercise this profession only for others. I also do this to fill a  desire of  personal recognition: because a someone's sincere thanks are priceless.

Thank you

Deb
